Vigfús Þormar Gunnarsson

Vigfús studied acting in The Icelandic Film school and finished in 2012. Along with working as an actor, he started working in film production and quickly progressed into the assistant director department, both as first and second assistant director. In 2015 he was asked to do the casting in the TV series The Case due to his acting background. From that point forward, he went on to do many more casting jobs along with working as an assistant director. 

In the year 2018, Vigfús switched his focus soley on working as a casting director and founded Doorway Casting. 

Vigfús's strengths as a casting director lie in his background and knowledge in acting, as well as the experience acquired as an assistant director in the production aspects of the movie industry.
